It’s Been a Year Now

It’s been a long time now,
Your breath on my skin,
I haven’t felt something so devine since then.
How was I supposed to know?
That depth of Your eyes,
I had always felt they don’t tell me lies.
You’ve given scratches on my soul,
Yet, Your lips brushing agaisnt mine,
It’s a year and I haven’t been fine.
They say “You can cut all the flowers, but you can’t keep the Spring from coming.” ,
But, since you’re gone, the Winter has stopped me from loving.
And whenever I think about the times we spent,
Trust me, I remember only the good ones.
About all the love we had, and all the fun.

And who knew that so fast the time would fly?
All the care you had, all your love towards me would finally die.
But, finally, it’s a year of broken promises and brokent heart.
I’m glad that today I’m free from You ; a devastating Art.
And, this is just a Letter potraying my leftover love for You.
I feel lucky, I couldn’t learn the way how you unloved me.
For it’s a year of little traces of you left inside me.
